Mechanism of action of ACE-031:
It is the fusion protein of activin receptor type IIB and IGF-Fc, which binds myostatin. It aims to disrupt its inhibitory effect that occurs on muscle development and also provides a potential therapy for myopathies like Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).
